Street Artsre
街頭藝術和塗鴉有什麼區別？ 經過當局的許可，街頭藝術在墨爾本市是合法的。街頭藝術通常是經許可或委託繪製的。塗鴉通常是文字，而街頭藝術則是圖像。

What is the difference between Street Art and Graffiti? With proper permission, street art is legal in the City of Melbourne. Street art is usually painted with permission or commissioned. Graffiti is word-based, whereas Street Art is image-based.
There are a few street arts in the Melbourne CBD and there are Hosier Lane, Caledonian Lane, Duck Place, Union Lane and Rutledge Lane.
Hosier Lane is known for its ever-changing exhibition of Melbourne’s finest street art. It is one of the popular street arts in Melbourne CBD.
Queen Victoria Market

The Queen Victoria Market (QVM) was officially opened on 20 March 1878. It was originally wholesale and retail fruit and vegetables until the wholesale market in Footscray Road was opened in 1969.
The QVM has been the heart and soul of Melbourne for more than a century. Initially, this market started as a small market to the east of the city in the 1850s and over the years, it slowly expanded to the size of what you see today.
Today, QVM is one of the major Melbourne tourist attractions, offering a variety of fruit and vegetables, meat, poultry and seafood, gourmet and deli foods. QVM also has many stalls selling a diverse range of clothing, shoes, jewellery and handmade art and crafts.

3》 聖帕特里克大教堂
St Patrick's Cathedral
聖帕特里克大教堂是澳大利亞維多利亞墨爾本皇家天主教大主教管區的大教堂。

St Patrick's Cathedral is the cathedral church of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Melbourne in Victoria, Australia.
The cathedral is located in Eastern Melbourne along Albert Street. The cathedral is built on a traditional east-west axis, with the altar at the eastern end, symbolising belief in the resurrection of Christ.
The foundation stone was laid and construction began in 1858. The building was officially completed in 1939.

City Circle Tram
免費的市區環狀電車是您遊覽墨爾本市區最好的方式。酒紅色的古老車身和木頭座位散發出悠久歷史的懷舊風味，每年大約接待三百萬名遊客。
市區環狀電車約每12分鐘一班，環繞著市區街道，以順時鐘和逆時鐘双方行駛，每個方向每一個時候都有十輛電車同時服務。 途經許多市中心重要的觀光景點，整趟旅程大約六十分鐘。
要體驗市區環狀電車非常簡單，只要在環狀電車所經途中的任何一個電車站即可任意上下車。
The City Circle Tram is a free and convenient way to see the sights of central Melbourne and the Docklands while experiencing a ride on one of the city’s much loved heritage trams.
The tram route was introduced on 29 April 1994. The route passes many Melbourne attractions while running along the CBD’s outermost thoroughfares, as well as the Dockland waterfront precinct.
The City Circle Tram operates at an interval of 12 minutes in both directions, with the service taking approximately 60 minutes to complete a loop. 10 trams are in service at any one time in each direction. An average of 3 million passengers uses the services every year.
To catch the City Circle Tram, simply wait at any tram stop along the City Circle Tram route. These tram stops are specially marked with a City Circle sign.

Flinders Street Station

Flinders Street Station is one of the city’s most distinguishable landmarks in Melbourne. It was completed in 1909 and it is Australia’s oldest train station with its distinctive yellow façade and green copper dome it’s a city icon. It is listed on the Victorian Heritage Register, its 708 metres main platform is the 4th largest railway platform in the world.
Flinders Street Station serves the entire metropolitan rail network. Backing onto the city reach of the Yarra River in the heart of the city, the complex covers two whole city blocks and extends from Swanston Street to Queen Street.
Flinders Street is the busiest suburban railway station in the southern hemisphere, with over 1500 trains and more than 100,000 commuters passing through daily.

Federation Square

Federation Square was opened in 2002 and has seen more than 90 millions visitors. It is currently number one for national and international visitation to Melbourne and is regularly among Victoria’s top two attractions in the state for local, national and international visitors. This open public space is directly opposite Flinders Street Station and St Paul’s Cathedral. Most importantly, it is next to the clean and famous Yarra River.
Melbourne Visitor Centre is located right in the open public space of Federation Square (opposite Flinders Street Station), making it the first stop when you come to Melbourne City.

8》 皇家拱廊商店街
Royal Arcades
皇家拱廊於1868年動工，1870年完工，至今將近150年的歷史，使它成為墨爾本、也是澳洲最古老的商店街。
皇家拱廊所在的位置是墨爾本數一數二的精華地段，當年的成交價是20英鎊（相當於36澳幣），如今這片土地價值超過數以百萬澳幣。整條長廊贯通Little Collins St 和Bourke St，有一條垂直的通道連接到西方的Elizabeth St，也連接了Little Collins St的商店區，使得遊客在墨爾本市區的走動更為方便。
皇家拱廊於不久前進行翻新，恢復了以往的光彩。經過一個半世紀，皇家拱廊依舊以它獨特的魅力每年吸引了數以百萬的遊客造訪這個維多利亞時代屹立至今的美麗建築。
The design of the Royal Arcade started in 1868, more than 146 years ago. The construction of this heritage shopping arcade in the CBD of Melbourne was completed and opened in 1870.
The land on which the arcade was built was a plot of prime land when Melbourne was first settled. Initially, this plot of land was first purchased at the price of 20 pounds ( ̴ $36AUD). The similar plot of land today is now worth over multi-millions.
Not long ago, this Arcade was renovated and restored to its past glory. After so many years, this arcade still hold its charm, attracting millions of visitors every years. It is a significant Victoria era building, listed on the Victoria Heritage Register.

9》 戰争紀念公園
Shrine of Remembrance
戰争紀念公園是維多利亞州為了紀念在戰争中犧牲的士兵而建造的。
它的設計是參考摩索拉斯墓和雅典的巴特農神殿，方形的建築物本體加上金字塔型的屋頂，由澳洲本地生産的Tynong花崗岩建造而成。
神社内部是經典的挑高設計，由四個高大柱子撑起整個空間，神社正中央矗立着一塊“紀念石”，入口處的牆上則刻着“永誌不忘”。
The Shrine of Remembrance is the National War Memorial of Victoria, a monument dedicated to all those who have served in the armed conflicts and peacekeeping operations in which Australia has participated.
The design of the Shrine was based on the Tomb of Mausolus at Halicarnassus and the Parthenon in Athens. It is a structure of square plan roofed by a stepped pyramid. It was built from Tynong granite, material that were sourced within Australia.
Internally, the Shrine is the Sanctuary, a high vaulted space entered by four tall portals of Classical design. At the centre of the Sanctuary stands the ‘Stone of Remembrance’.

10》 維多利亞國會大廈
Victoria Parliament House
維多利亞國會大廈座落在墨爾本市中心的Spring Street，於1855年12月開始建造，並於1856年建造完成，1929年再度整修。
整棟大廈採用了十九世紀的羅馬復興式建築風格，並展現了淘金熱時期的奢華，因為在文化傳承上具有重大意義，現已列於維多利亞遺產保護古蹟之一。
1901至1927年間，國會大廈是聯邦議會所在地，因為當時澳洲憲法中預設的新首都尚未存在。許多聯邦時期早期的重大事件都發生在這幢大廈中，包括1901年工黨的形成，1909年自由貿易黨和保護主義黨統合成最初的自由黨，以及1914年的第一次大戰宣言。
2005-2006年間，國會大廈慶祝成立150週年。
Parliament House in Melbourne located at Spring Street, Melbourne City Centre. It has been the seat of the Parliament of Victoria, Australia since 1855.
The construction of this building started in December 1855, and was completed in stages between 1856 and 1929. The building is an example of Roman Revival architecture, a style of building employed beginning in the mid-19th century inspired by the 11th and 12th century Romanesque architecture. This building is listed on the Victorian Heritage Register, a place that is cultural heritage significance to the State of Victoria, Australia.
In 2005-2006, the Parliament celebrated its 150th anniversary.

Crown Casino & Entertainment Complex
1997年開幕的皇冠賭場位於亞拉河的南岸，面積51萬平方公尺，是南半球最大的賭場，有500張賭台和2500台吃角子老虎機。整個娱樂中心還包括3 間酒店、40多家餐廳、19間酒吧、3個夜總會、14個電影院、以及一條專賣世界精品的購物走廊。

The Crown Casino and Entertainment Complex opened in 1997, is a large casino and entertainment precinct located on the south bank of the Yarra River, in Melbourne.
The entire complex has a space of 510,000 sqm, which is equivalent to 2 city blocks, making it one of the largest casino complexes in the world. It is also the largest casino in the south hemisphere and has a license for 500 table games and 2,500 poker machines.
Notable features of the casino include its entrance (Atrium), featuring stepped fountains, sound and lighting shows under the themes of the 4 seasons.

Royal Botanic Gardens

Since the establishment of the Gardens in 1846, much of the native vegetation was removed as botanists planted a range of species from around the world.
