A friend had previously joined KK Melbourne Tours and highly recommended it to me, so I decided to give it a try — and I’m so glad I did! Leo really made the whole day effortless. We could relax and even catch a quick nap on the minibus between stops, while still managing to visit all the key highlights of the Great Ocean Road in one day. The Penguin Parade and Puffing Billy steam train experiences were absolutely fantastic as well!

Leo was like a caring dad throughout the trip — he made us feel safe, comfortable, and well looked after. He was incredibly good at managing time and planning the day efficiently. As long as we followed his suggestions, we were able to see all the major attractions and even visit several hidden gems along the way.

Because he planned the timing so well, we were able to avoid the crowds at many popular attractions. Leo even took us to some of his own secret spots, where we didn’t have to wait in line or squeeze through crowds just to take photos. At one of these places, we were literally the only people there!

For popular experiences like the Penguin Parade, Leo told us exactly when and where to go for the best views. During the Puffing Billy ride, he arranged for us to sit toward the back of the train, giving us a fantastic view of the entire steam train as it went around the curves. These thoughtful little details really made our trip feel perfect. 🧡

My wife and I joined two separate day tours with KK Melbourne — KK1 Great Ocean Road and KK2 Mt Dandenong + Phillip Island.

Our guide, Leo, was not only warm, professional, and highly experienced, but also very knowledgeable about the local culture, people, stories, and history. He explained everything clearly and patiently, and took great care of every member of the group. Both the adults and children really enjoyed talking with him and felt comfortable around him.

What made the experience even more special was that Leo took us to some unique attractions that larger tour groups normally don’t visit. These special stops gave us a deeper appreciation for Melbourne and made us enjoy our time in Australia even more.

Our whole family booked a private tour to the Twelve Apostles. Our guide, Leo, was very experienced. The highlight for me was definitely watching the little penguins return home on Phillip Island. 🐧 Leo explained the route the penguins usually take and suggested the best places for us to wait, so we had a great view of them coming ashore one by one. They were absolutely adorable!

On the way back to our hotel, Leo also shared some recommendations for local food and suggested some good restaurants nearby. This was especially helpful for someone visiting Melbourne for the first time.

The tour vehicles were also very clean and comfortable, and they had charging facilities available. After spending a full day sightseeing, being able to charge our phones was incredibly convenient!

It was my first time visiting Melbourne, and I joined a KK Melbourne Chinese-language tour after it was recommended by a friend. We had an incredibly enjoyable two-day trip.

Our driver and guide, Leo, took us to several attractions that large group tours usually don’t visit, including a beautiful postcard-worthy lighthouse and a magnificent, grand church.

At every stop, he gave us detailed explanations about the history and background of each attraction, which helped us gain a much deeper understanding of Melbourne’s history.

When it came to meals, Leo also did his best to avoid crowded restaurants and took us to places where we could enjoy delicious food at reasonable prices.

Instead, they continued with the itinerary and gave us what was essentially a private tour for the two of us. We really appreciated this!

This is my second time joining the KK Melbourne Tours. Just like last year, we chose the Puffing Billy steam train, the wildlife park, and Phillip Island Penguin Parade. The itinerary was just as fun as before — definitely a must-do when visiting Melbourne.

Sovereign Hill is also perfect for family trips, with various workshops for visitors to experience.

We joined two one-day tours — one to the steam train, animal farm, and penguin parade, and another to Sovereign Hill and a winery.

The new vehicle was very spacious and comfortable, and the guide drove fast but steady. He also helped take photos and avoided the crowds for us.

5 stars! We joined the KK 2-day trip. It was an amazing route, with thoughtful arrangements for photo stops, breaks, and meals along the way. Guide Leo took us to places with very few people that were perfect for photos. The itinerary was very well arranged, and whenever there was extra time, he brought us to hidden gem spots he had planned! He also shared different historical stories, which was really enriching!​

Our family of 4 visited our relatives in Australia from the US and had the chance to join the tour led by Leon in early January 2025.

The entire tour was very relaxing and pleasant.
We went through the entire Great Ocean Road, from Melbourne to Warrnambool, and stayed there for one night. Leon’s company suggested this hotel/resort called Deep Blue Hotel and Hot Springs..The resort was great, very clean and quite luxurious.. Because of this one-night stay, we got the chance to stop by many attractions without being rushed or skipping some spots.. I personally like this kind of arrangement much better than the 1-day round trip from Melbourne. Leo also took us to some less well-known spots where you don’t have to wait in line with most of the tourists, taking turns to take pictures, but you can take your time, walking around the attractions, and enjoy the beautiful scenery slowly.
 

On the 3rd day, we started with the train ride at the Puffing Billy Railway before heading to Phillip Island and the Maru Koalo Park. Leo’s advice helped us take some memorable pictures.

The highlight of the day was definitely seeing those cute penguins coming home at Penguin Parade.. Leon’s arrangement again helped us in saving some time while we still manage to visit all the places.

Overall, we were all very satisfied with Leo’s arrangements. He is a bright person with tons of experience being a tour guide who knows a lot of tricky details that can save you the hassles, and bring you lots of fun.

I highly recommend Leo as your tour guide in Melbourne.

This time I joined the Great Ocean Road one-day tour, and the pick-up right at our accommodation was very convenient. Our guide, Leo, was warm and friendly, and he took the initiative to help everyone take photos. The scenery at the Twelve Apostles was truly magnificent and beautiful!

Since part of the route goes through winding mountain roads, the guide kindly reminded us in advance to take motion sickness tablets, and thanks to that, no one felt carsick. Along the way, he also checked in on us to make sure we were okay—very thoughtful! Highly recommended!

We had a solid itinerary, with the right amount of time for sightseeing. Leo was very experienced and took us to great locations, even recommending different food to us. Mum and Dad were also very satisfied.

The itinerary rich, the scenic spots beautiful, the bus comfortable, and the air-conditioning just right. But the most important thing was the tour guide Leo, who took great care of everyone on the bus. He took us to the most authentic places to get photos, and he also had the initiative to be our photographer and videographer. He took us to eat delicious and affordable food, such as pies and fish and chips. The most surprising thing was the Penguin Parade, where he brought us to a spot to watch the penguins up close, without needing to pay extra. Today's itinerary and satisfaction was 100+ points. Super happy today 😊😊😊

Leo’s itinerary was very fulfilling. In the morning, we took a steam train and were able to sit on the ledge, which was very fun. After lunch, we visited the zoo and saw kangaroos- so exciting! Then we went to Penguin Island, where the scenery was beautiful, and we took many photos. Overall, we are extremely satisfied. Joining this KK Melbourne trip was well worth it! The guide was attentive and considerate, taking beautiful photos for us at scenic spots, and also made sure to stop occasionally during long drives so that we could stretch our legs.
